I had a chance to use Aero Kroil on a seized bolt and it really worked. I would put it above PB blaster or Deep Creep Seafoam. Chances are they all use the same chemicals. You can get 2 cans for $12 delivered. Thats not bad.

Kroil has been around for years and sells direct to the consumer.
Got a seized engine? pour some Kroil in it. bet it comes loose before long. It is really good stuff.
Funny...this very subject came up just a couple days ago on another board....

I was introduced to Kroil, The Kreeping Oil, back in the early 70's while working as a lab tech in Homelite's R&D lab. Best experience with it was to free the pistons in a Yam 250 that were rusted solid in the bores. Hard to believe but I still have a little left in the bottle I ripped off, I mean, borrowed from the Labs back then.

Seems like a good deal LOL.....Just dont know what I would do with 12 cans.....

Kroil is great lubricant for firearms if you're out in temperatures below about -10 degrees F (I used to call in coyotes when I lived in North Dakota). It doesn't gum up like most conventional firearm lubricants do.
Just don't use it on a firearm with a fine wood stock. It does "kreep" everywhere, and will stain the wood. A synthetic or laminate stock will be fine though.
I use it all the time on motorcycle restoration projects to free up stuck piston rings. Just squirt some into each spark plug hole and let it sit for a couple days.sigpic

It IS great stuff! My brother, a master machinist, turned me on to it a few years ago. It has helped immeasurably in working on old bikes and old boats. Anyplace rust or corrosion cause stuff to seize, Kroil does wonders. PB Blaster is great too, but I prefer Kroil, especially the non-aerosol cans, because you can really target specific stuff when applying it with a q-tip.1979 GS 1000

So a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone was the winner, wow! I wonder who thought of creating that combination? I'd rather not blow myself up, so I'll use something a little safer like Kroil - it really is great stuff, kind of like PB Blaster on steroids.
