I'm pulling the engine out of my '78 GS1000 this weekend to replace a leaking Vesra O-Ring / Base gasket. OEM's are going back in. I'll never stray from OEM again if possible.

I'm very close to needing a full gasket set finally, and from what I can see so far, I'm going to have to go with Athena.
I can't get OEM gaskets for my '81 450 any more unless I stumble across a NOS one somewhere, but I have already tried a few different places with NOS parts to no avail.
Guess I'll just have to trust to dumb luck that the Athena set is good!1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie
