Loose spark plugs
What causes my spark plugs to come loose. This has happened twice now which causes it to run like crap. The first time it was the #1 plug and this last time it was the #2 plug. I check them before I ride and they are all tight, but as I'm riding one of them will come loose and the rest are still tight? any suggestions on how this could happen and the best fix to keep them from doing this would be appreciated.I didnt do it I swear !!

If they are horrible you can get a helicoil put in... Some people say they can do it without removing head too....
You could also try a different brand of plug as possible the thread tolerances may be a little different and could help you.1980 GS1000G - Sold

Maybe it's Coriolis effect making them rotate...Last edited by tkent02; 05-17-2010, 01:41 AM.
