    if you are worried about the 4mm then bend the metal as you describe, basically the same thing. I have never noticed any offset issue and I also have the corbin seats.

    Aluminum is stiffer than copper and lighter as well but it will still bend. Soft enough to be easy to file.

        Did a couple of these on the ES. Worked out great. Aluminium, drilled some holes in the "baseplate" for extra contact area.
