Which valve compressor?

As the thread title states, which valve compresser do you guys use for our 8 valve heads?

Removal is easy enough, but the recessed nature of our shim over bucket valve design does not allow for use of the commonly available valve compressors.

Can I compress them by hand while a friend drops in the collets in? Probably.
Do I want to do it that way?
Not really.

I haven't done it myself, but the forum accepted way seems to be with a large C clamp and a small, very complex, piece of PVC tubing.

I use a c clamp with a home made slug so that I can get the keepers in and out. In hind sight I would probably buy the one that looks like a c clamp. But I did make it myself.
