    Use Caution!!

It goes without saying, but I'm saying it anyway. Be careful when putting the airbox back onto a 1100EZ!!! I was just finessing it in, when it gave, trapping my finger between the airbox and the top nut of the rear brake master!! F^&#^'N OUCH!! I then had to rip the stinkin' airbox out to release my finger, which was bleeding all over the place. I hate having to clean up a greasy bleeder!
Seriously, I want to shoot and urinate on the moron who designed the battery location for this bike. My old 750 only required unlocking the seat. Yeah, yeah, I know it lowers the centre of gravity and all, but it shouldn't take longer to service the battery than it takes to do an oil change!!

Sometimes I wonder if these old bikes were designed as they went along.

But they sure are fun when ya get em right.

Ya, I know it sucks. I have a '82 1100EZ. Unbolt the rear master cylinder and move it to the R side. A lot easier. That is the main reason I switched to an AGM battery.

I never had that issue.........My beef is getting the rubber boot, between the front and rear airboxes, back on. After doing it 100 times I found that a little ArmorAll on the rubber boot is the trick.

If you put a 4 into 1 on it, throw away the airbox & put a jet kit in it you will never hurt yourself that way again! Plus, you will LOVE the power increase & weight decrease!!! Ray.
