Looks like a great price on the IR thermometer.

a rare outsider and was only built until 1983. Who still has one, it gives her so little.

That's actually a good price for the IR thermometer. I bought one last summer and it seems to work well.

I follow the HF sales fliers closely and too many times they advertise as being on sale this week/month but in reallity it's the same old price.

I just got a coupon for $299 for the 1000lb lift if you want it?

I have the lift and like it.

              lift and thermo

              Hi,

Ive bought both items from HF in the last year or so, I paid about 27 with coupons for the thermo, and about three hundred with coupon for the lift. I like both items, but you need to put an alkaline battery in that thermo, not a heavy duty like I had, and the battery has a fairly short life as well. Without a strong battery, readings will not be correct or very sporadic. Thats a good item to have a spare batt for every time you use it.

I like my lift, but one of them came back to the HF showroom, with a failed hydraulic cyl, they blew it out for two hundred bux, needing the cylinder, but by that time, I had mine already. I will say,if you leave the lift jacked up with weight on it, it will leak a bit overnight, that crossbar must be in place and the cyl must have pressure off as it says in the instructions. This said, I caution against buying sophisticated stuff at HF, I think youll find its the very lowest quality stuff, meant for gentle use only, which is fine. Ive had to take a lot of stuff back to HF, after its failed, or is such poor quality in initial use that I couldnt trust it. I have a battery charger to take back right now, it failed after three uses, am not going to get another one of those. I first thought that the batt charger was one of the old fashioned kind, that just provided a source of twelve volts, its not, it has that circuit in it, where the charged item must have a certain level of voltage in it already for it to charge further. Since I wanted a charger that I could do rust electrolyses with, that wont help me.

I have had decent luck with the battery maintainers from there though, I have three and they all seem to work fine. For five bux, they are in my price range. Keep the shiny side up.
