    Wandering if anybody has modified their gs with forward controls?

          Im also, looking for some forward controls, are there any kits known to work well for an 82 gs 1100 gl?

            Thanks, Ive been looking around mre and I think my best and ost enomical bet, will be purchasing a set f fixed rearsets for a port bike nd reversing them to work as forwards.

              Good luck clearing the crank cases with those. The GS motor is pretty wide, almost 4 inches wider on each side than the frame where those mount to.

              Not saying it can't be done as people here have, just something to think about.

              You'd probably be better off making them yourself. Then you'd know they would fit.

                im thinking

                I'm thinking of welding a plate directly to the engine guard and bolting them to those plates. It may give me a wide spread with my legs. But I'm 6 foot 3 and think I could deal.as long as I can. Figure out a linkage that will work. I would prolly use cable on the break side. But will have to bend a rod to work on the shifter.
