    Windshield vents

Anyone looking for windshield vents should check out aircraftspruce.com. they have the same vents that vetter sells but are a lot cheaper.

I picked up a second-set of Vetter vents for my bike when I got a new windshield. The original vents were in really bad color-shape (very yellow) so I cleaned them up with SprayNine, rinsed very well, and then soaked them down with black Krylon Fusion and then scrubbed them in the kitchen sink with a green scrubbie and dish-soap, dried them very well and then soaked them again with the Krylon Fusion. Ended up with a great looking finish (well, I think so anyway) and the paint is solid on there.
