    Carb Tech - Choke Diameter

I found this while searching for a replacement carb. It explains the effect of changing your carb size.

The site as a whole is pretty usefull for those who really get into their carbs

That is a decent enough article, too bad it has NOTHING at all to do with the carbs fitted to our GS bikes.

Our "choke" is an enrichment system that supplies fuel and air through separate passages from the 'normal' circuits. They are also designed such that they rely on CLOSED throttle to work. If you open the throttle AT ALL while using the "choke", that circuit is defeated and you will have a much harder time trying to start the bike.

Thanks for the effort, but, as mentioned, the Dellorto carbs don't really apply to our bikes. They work differently and have considerably different parts.

About the only thing that they have in common is that they mix air and fuel for an engine to burn.
        I ride many bikes.
        Some are even Suzukis. :D
