I have three '78 GS1000E's and even after blowing that pic WAY up (I like that Photobucket option), I am stumped. How about a clue as to where you found it and cleaning it up and getting a pic from the other side?

Well, technically I didnt take it off the bike, but out of one of the seven boxes that my bike came in lol. Assuming it has nothing to do with the bike..

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
