Race (paddock) rear stand for GS1000G

I want to use a rear race stand on the GS1000G on my new lift table.

Where can the stand pivot on the shaft drive side?

When i want to use a rear stand on a twin shock bike - but don't want to or can't weld on stand lugs - I make up extended bottom shock bolts and use them for the stand pickup points. With a shaftie, it's about the only option. If you want i can take a pic to make it clearer.

              Some photos of the rear.

              Shaft side

              Right side

The OEM pipes leave little room for the lower shock nuts.

Well three goes and i can't get the pic on...the latest changes to the forum have left me behind. I'll happily email anyone the pic if they PM me an address.

i see the shafties use studs for shock mounts. Not a problem as i've made up long nuts for other bikes. More room can be gained by spacing the mufflers out a tad.
