Differences in GS1000l vs GS 1000ec frames comments

You can use many forks for the GS 1000.
I've used GSXR 1100 G/H, GSXR 1100 K and best of all Yamaha R6 first gen.

And here is the frame of the GS(X) 1100 16 valve.
The lt version differs only in the rear loop and some reinforcement between the front downtubes.
BTW, the front bottom left engine support is welded on the 1000 and bolted on the 1100.
Fitting an 1100 engine requires the removal of the welded part as the bottom of the engine is slighly wider!

Seems one of those pictures, but of an "L" frame should tell something. as this thread is comparing the "L" to the "E". Just from memory, the "L" seats height seemed roughly a couple, or 3" lower than the "E" seats. I tried to look it up, but none of of bike specs. places show seat height for the "E", or standard model, but all of them show the "L" model seat height is 32 1/2".1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw.
