What wheels are these on a GS1000?
This looks to me as if it's a US import - single front disc, handlebars etc. Anyone know what wheels they are? The seller doesn't know but they are 19" front, 18" rear.

I agree on the Lesters. However, that is the same spoke pattern that was on several of the Yamahas of the day.
Did they get their wheels from Lester?
Definitely not Kawasaki wheels. They had seven spokes with a single rib and were sourced by (or merely patterned after) Morris Mags.

Take a look in the Gallery, you will see plenty of them.

Lesters I think. Bruce had Morrris mags, same as I have I believe. Single raised rib in center on each spoke. If you look at the ones on that bike you can see it has 2 raised edges with channel in the middle.

The bike probably had wire wheels originally and then upgraded to the mags which would account for the single disk. My vote is for Lesters also.'84 GS750EF (Oct 2015 BOM) '79 GS1000N (June 2007 BOM) My Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/soates50/

Don't know enough about the subtle differences to hazard a guess here, but I came across a set of mag wheels made by Compagnolo (Italy), on a local GS1000 project that the guy sold me the Marzocchi shocks off of. They were also of very similar design and color scheme to these.
