GS650GL front tire

Ok, I've done the search thing, read a bunch of tire threads and did not find a good answer to my question. My bike is spec'd for a 90/90/19 and I bought it with a 100/90/19 installed. I ordered new tires yesterday and I went with the 100/90 again only because I was unaware at the time that it needed the 90/90. What can I expect the handling differences to be on such a small difference in spec? Ordered the Avon Roadriders.

100/90 should be fine. Pretty sure that is what I run.

Yeah, I know it's going to work but I don't have enough experience to know the handling differences, if any. Hoping to hear from some folks in the know.

That is what's on mine. I replaced them 2-years ago and went with the same size that was on it when I got it. No handling problems, not too fat, not too much side wall so that it feels spongy when leaning into a tight curve...just right.

Hi,

Going one size up on the front will cause you to use a little extra effort in the twisties. But otherwise you'll be fine. What's your rim width?
