78 GS 1000 rear caliper
Restoring 1978 GS 1000 E. After installing rear rim/caliper assembly, noticed the rotor runs on the right side of the rear caliper. One would assume the rotor should be centered in the caliper. Purchased another 1978 GS 1000E and the rear rotor also runs right up against the right side of the rear caliper. It just so happens I also own a 1982 GS 1100 EZ, and the rear rotor on that bike runs in the center of the caliper. Thank you in advance for your time and attention.Tags: None
