    I believe the G models have a clevis mount in the bottom...

      Nope, they are eyes at both ends.

        IF you have eye to eye they should work. I have seen late 1100G's withe eye clevis so check your bike

            my (gone) ,82 gs1100g and my '84 GK have both eye-eye shock.
            But i think the right side on the swingarm had a clevis insteat a bolt, at least on the gk.

              Hi,

              Good price on those shocks. You might want to look on Progressive's site and get all of the dimensions of those shocks. I'm thinking there's a small chance that they might be too thick at the eye to fit on a GS shock mount. Is the eye the same diameter (12mm)? If not, you may have to put bushings in them yourself. Those are good looking shocks though. Let us know if they fit.

                Yes, stud length would be my only concern otherwise look like a great deal & particularly suitable to an L model in style.

                My 1000G was eye to eye 13" (well 12.8" I think if we're being PC)
