replacing front master cylinder

so last year when I bled my brakes, one of the screws on the front master cylinder of my 80 GS550 was stripped out, so, it never closed properly... I purchased a new master cylinder/brake lever and am going to replace it.... I'm just wondering if it is as simple as it looks, because nothing with this bike has been simple, or typically I fix one thing and three more things go......
anyways, is it really as simple as unbolting the bolt from the brake hose, disconnecting the brake light switch cable and unbolting the unit form my handle bars? anything I need to look out for... any tips, tricks, etc?

You will need to bleed the system after you open it.

yeah, that's a given.... i was just looking at it and it does look that simple to do, I just was wondering if I was missing something here or if I'm merely nervously overreacting because of my history with the bike, that's all

Watch the contact under the brake light switch board. It's tiny, 3 pieces, loves to fall apart, and so easy to lose parts of it (particularly the actual contact and spring). Probably easiest to flip the MC over when you do that. See this:
