I recently put on a pair of the Tour masters after I picked up a screw in my old rear tire. They were into the third season anyway so age was a factor there as well. I have to say the Tour masters are working out great. I would recommend them.

Ed,
Just curious what is your opinion now of the Shinko 230's now that you have lived with them for a couple of months? What bike do you put them on, catch n release or the Gs1000s'sSteve

For my older bikes, I've been very satisfied with Dunlop D404s. The pricing is reasonable for a quality H rated tire that has good characteristics. They run about $170 for a pair. Tire express has free shipping on orders over $100.
