    Fork air pressure?

I have a 1980 850 G that doesn't have the shrader fittings on the top of the forks. I'm replacing a fork seal this week (RH) and as of now, it seems to be sagging. I have to pull the bike up when I put it on the kick stand.

Are my springs sagged or is there a way to shim the springs for a higher ride height up front?

80 GS850 should have the air fittings, that is unless someone has changed it.. If it is sticking ? It may be out of oil or it could have a bent fork tube. As far as shimming the springs, use PVC pipe You want it to come up to the very top or maybe stick out 1/2"

The forks aren't sticking, just the springs seem very flimsy, not extending the forks as they should.

As far as the air pressure what should it be? 10 psi?

EDIT: Whoops! I found the shrader fittings under the nice chrome hex caps...
