GS750 Front Master Rebuild Kit
Can anyone tell me where I can find a front master cylinder rebuild kit for a 78 GS750. The local bike shops tell me they can't get it because its a dealer only item. So I went to the dealer today and they only have them back to 1980. Or can anyone tell me if the 1980 kit will work on a 1978. I also checked ebay, etc, with no luck. Thanks!Tags: None

Wow, your dealer sucks.
For the dual disc bikes the part number is... Part# 59600-45811
supersedes: 59600-31827 59600-45810
For single disc the part number is... Part# 59600-45821
supersedes: 59600-18824 59600-45820
Any dealer can order one of these part numbers. Or order from your favorite on-line parts source. Part Shark is the cheapest in my experience.Ed

Do you remember getting a "welcome package" from BassCliff?
In there, he has a bunch of links to the online vendors that are popular at GSR.
If you can't find his welcome to you, just find one of his recent posts, it's in his sig.

My local dealer is Babbits....not sure if this is the same Babbits I see mentioned in other posts. I have been less then pleased with them. For instance, they sold me 2-1 Liter(33.8 oz each) bottles of fork oil for my forks. So I usually go to a local aftermarket shop but he said the front is dealer only so he would have to order it from babbits and then sell it to me.
Maybe with the part number they can order it or I will order from one of the online vendors.
I do not recall the 'welcome package' but I will look for it.
Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it!!!
