Advice on best tires and size for 81GS1100

Second set of Pirelli Sport Demons here ... nothing else touches them for performance, but the Avon Roadriders approach them and wear better and more consistently, according to guys who have run many pairs of both over the years. Bwringer runs his to the limit, and has nothing but good things to say about them.

Bottom line: If you want the best performance, period ... go with the Pirelli's, but if you want close to the best performance at a lower price, with longer, more consistent wear, the Avon's seem to be the most well-liked among the guys I know.
