Has anyone rebuilt the Anti-Dive Units.

The modulators, as Suzuki calls them.

After all this time they may be a little gummy. In the manual Suzuki calls them replaceable; non-repairable. The parts fiche shows individual parts, but (used to be) sold only as a complete unit for the brake and the fork oil side.

Yes, I do know all about having no brake hose to the units so they sleep, or using a grooved block-off plate. Decades ago been there, done that, didn't like it

Good thing you ride an old bike. Anti dive was discontinued by the OEM's 20 years ago.

You can rebuild certain models, basically clean them out and replace all the o-rings. Kind of a PIA though...

They are not going to be any more or less effective "rebuilt" than 28 years old and not rebuilt. Flush em out so your fork oil does not get negitively contaminated, and just ride !
