    Dunlop Sportmax Q2 review

http://www.compacc.com/ has them on sale for package deals. I got front and rear shipped to my door for 209 ! I could not COME CLOSE anywhere else.

I have ridden on these tires before on a BMW 1300. I decided to try them on my 83 GS1100 that I have done the GSXR conversion on.

    170 rear and 120 front.

After putting in the recomended 100 mile break in, I headed for the mountains! These tires ride very smooth, do not follow pavement lines like the BT014 battleaxes did. High speed sweepers on I 40 (90 mph) were rock solid. The tires hold your line sooo good. they make riding fast fun.

They are not a "twitchy" feeling tire. They are very easy to transition from different lean angles and do not make the bike want to "fall" into the curve or feel funny when going from one side to the other at the cross over.

In the curves, they stuck like glue. Never had them wash on me at all, even with moderate sand/gravel in the road like the old bias ply. I reach my limit on nerves before the tires ran out.

I did scrape pegs a few times and never done that before with the old setup.

Rain?? Not rained yet but I will update if it does. Mileage?? Time will tell, but these tires perform so good, I have not found ANYTHING I dislike about them yet....except riding behind them...They are a little sticky on the edges and will throw rocks. I have been hit numerous times chasing my buddy on his BMW.

We put the front Q2 on my buddy's Z1000 when he was here, it seemed really good and sticky. The back tire was a different make so can't really tell.
