    rear calliper issues

I have a gs1000g and when i came back from a spin the back brake disc was red hot. I pulled the calliper apart and cleaned it thoroughly , put it all back together again , bled the system with fresh brake fluid, and put the calliper back on the bike, and the brake pad is still not retracting fully from the disc.
I done each step according to the manual. Anyone have any input on the matter.
    Cheers.

Or you can skip re-doing the caliper and address what it more likely the problem:

clean the equalizer hole in the master cylinder.

You have to take it pretty much all the way apart, but there is a tiny, tiny little hole under the fitting where the brake fluid comes down from the reservoir. If that is blocked (and it likely is), brake fluid that has expanded due to the heat caused by the inherent friction in the caliper can not equalize, and all it can do is squeeze harder on the caliper.
