new wheel
I did a ew searches and didn't find what I'm looking or even tho I've seen something similar posted on here before. What rear wheel options do I have for my 82 gs750ez? I want to stay with a gs 5 star, just can't remember which bikes had what size. Is there a chart that anyone has made up or ran across that will help? hight and width?Tags: None

I am not sure how big you can go with the stock steel swingarm. I have upgrade to the 1100E aluminum one and i am putting a 3.5" 1150 wheel on it and I am pretty sure you can go bigger.
You can get an idea of how much room you have by measuring the tire to swingarm clearance.

The 750 uses a 2.15 x 18 wheel. The GS1000 uses a 2.5 x 17 which should be a straight bolt on (I think). The wider 17 can accept a wider and taller tire which should put your gearing right back where it was with the 18 (or close).Ed
To measure is to know.
