Radials or bias ply tires on 83 Katana

I have an 83 1100 Katana with a 89 Katana 600 front end , wheels & tires on the front and an 89 GSXR 750/1100 wheel & tires on the back. I need new tires, should I go with the radials that were on the wheels or bias plys because of the early chassis ? Im kind of in a new area here for me, and have no experience with radials on bikes

As long as you have the wide wheels go for radials. Better grip, handling, and less rolling resistance are just a few reasons off the top of my head.

Just one more thing, and this applies to your front end, modern suspension is made to work in conjunction with radials. The forks are usually set up stiffer and have less travel because the radials do a good job of soaking up much of the initial jolt when it needs to go to work.
