old thread for making brake lines.
i ran across a thread on how to make your own braided brake lines out of plumbing supplies a while back. had instructional videos and everything in it. but now for the life of me i can't find it again. can someone please point me the right direction? thanks much appreciated.Tags: None

Not quite plumbing supplies, in the household sense...
I've done this, and I've done Goodridge pre-built lines from Z1. DIY is a little cheaper, and you get to cut the lengths just right. Goodridge lines you have to measure well before ordering, but I think they look just a little better. I don't have a strong preference for either, but I thought I should mention the option.
Either way, once you've had stainless, nothing else feels safe.Dogma
