Shorter shocks

I have a 79 1000 L, I want to lower it, where would be a good place to get shorter shocks used if possible. I would like to lower it about 3 inches.

Yours are eye to clevis right? If so, Im not sure I found anywhere that sold them that much shorter. If theyre eye to eye, you could always go with a rebel of LTD shock. Id look into to getting a beefier coil replacement though.
