Need '83 850G brake line lengths

trying to order SS lines, need all lengths and fittings for my bike.
wouldn't be posting this if I could do it myself (bike is in NY- I am in CA) or if I found it in search.

    thanks for help!

Haven't changed my lines yet, so no need to measure.

Just a thought, ...I am in NY, I can stop by and measure your lines for you.

i appreciate that, but the bike is on the border of porter corners and corinth (15-20 mins north of toga)
wouldn't expect you to drive all the way up there. i'll be home on the 10th, lets meet up at jitters or something

The proper brake line length depends on what handlebars the bike is wearing.

I dont think anyone here wants to be responsable for your lines not being correct.

              well played, sir.

Figured someone with stock set up would chime in, or see what different/same lengths different users have.

If that's where the bike is, I won't be going "up there" to see it.

I would be going "over there" or even "down there" to get to it.

                I'm in Glens Falls.

Besides, if it's anywhere near your parent's restaurant, I'm supposed to be going down there some time, but I need a reminder of the name and location.

If you order Earl's parts you can easily custom make yourself a set of lines without trusting someone else to measure for you.

I sent him a PM asking if he wanted to stop by and measure the lines on my '81 GS850G as he is only about 40-60 minutes away...

I would do that, if I wasn't 3,500 miles from my bike, and could measure everything.
I think I'll just wait until I get home to my bike and wait for shipping. My rubber lines are good still, just want SS upgrade.

Daniel- I would like to come see your bikes (and by see I of course mean take a ride up to Mt Rose!) if I'm in Reno before flying to Oregon on the 5th and then back to NY the 10th.

Have you checked out the post about the Earl's lines? Trust me, order the recommended sizing in that post maybe increased by a foot, all the parts, and put it together when it gets there. You won't be disappointed.

I've searched for it and am not having any luck, that would help a lot.
