would these work for a brake upgrade?

These were posted and I'm wondering if they would work for a brake upgrade on my 78 1000 ?

I doubt it... You would have to space the rotor over very close to the fork leg to make room for the 4 pistons.

I have seen it done (with a different 4 pot & stock rotor on a GS1100) but it was so tight on clearances that he had to put the bolts in the fork legs back to front with the nut on the outside to gain any kind of clearance & it was still very tight.
