    Fork Dust Covers

Is it necessary to change the dust covers when replacing fork seals ? The only reason I ask is, I can get the seals right away, but may have to wait for the dust covers. On basscliff's website it appears they should be replaced.

Not necessary, only if they are severely worn.

90% of the time, you can just wipe 'em up with a little oil, and good to go.
As long as they Cap-on the forks snugly, you're fine.

Atleast that's been my experience....after all, it's just a cap, lol
