GS1000 front wheel/spindle question?

Following the parts diagram for the front wheel, from the Left item 7 I think
sits between the left fork lower leg and the bearing in the wheel, so, is this the spacer you can see?

that is on the right hand side of the bike, as if you were sat on it, thespeedo drive is on the left

Yes, you can see the spacer.

Thanks nessism and agemax your correct I was just going off the diagram, the spacer is on the right.
