Correct or recomended tire size for 78 gs750e

    Hello,

What would be the correct or recommended tire size for a 78 GS750E ?

I want to replace both of my tires.

The rear is currently a 120/90-18 and I don't know what the front is, I can't find it stamped onto the tire.

    Also, any recommendations on brand?

Any recommended places to mount balance, or maybe even have them put the tires on?

I see the procedure in the manual, and the chain tightening procedure, but I'm not sure if im up to the job yet

I keep my bike in Woodbridge, NJ.

    Thanks in advance

90/90-19 is better for the 750.

I don't see why. The bike is just as big and heavy as the other bike GS's, and the front wheel size is the same. I say 100, just like all the others.

              Hi,

A cursory search of the forums will turn up all you would ever want to read about all of our favorite tires. Perform an advanced search, titles only, and search for the word "tires".

              Thank you for your indulgence,

                Thanks for the info guys.

I did search before posting this question, but maybe I didn't check the titles only box.

                Thanks
