They are crap. Spring rate is very hard, damper leaked in about a year of use, about 16,000 miles. Bushings are cheap plastic. overall, better buy redwings from Omar's. for $99

Which is good for a big heavy GS with a big heavy guy and his tiny wife and luggage. They soften a bit after a while. I used longer than stock (I almost always do) because it speeds up the steering just a touch and couple with some new fork springs, and some pointy profile tires like Avon RoadRiders or Pirelli sport Demons they'll have your ES handling very sharp without killing the bank. Never tried the RedWings, but those HammerHead race shocks look nice for the money. Too bad they only have eye to eye mounts. (great for a shaft though!) but honestly buy either, and save up for a set of YSS or Ohlins if you really want the most out of your springy bits.

Oh, I will add, and highly suggest purchasing some better bushings from your local auto parts house, and then drilling the bushes on your stock shocks to get the steel sleeves out of them rather than using the plastic junk these come with. That's probably why mine lasted as well as they did.
