sorry another brake master cylinder question

Can I just start and say thanks for everyone who takes the time to help memuch appreciated all.

Earlier i had to drill the heads off the from master cylinder and take them out with mole grips. managed to get new bolts but the one closest to the end of the handle bars and the front head light (has 4 bolts) wont screw in.

Ive noticed the other three bolt holes are hollow so I could put longer bolts in them and put nuts on the end, but the one that wont "bit" is the one with the brake lever under it.

Is there a way I can get it to bite, or any tricks? will it be ok with just the 3 bolts in it.

budget is low so cant stretch to a replacement

Which design MC have you got? Take a photo or have a look through the parts lists and copy and paste the diagram in.

You can use any master cylinder witha 5/8" bore pretty much if you need to replace.
Kawasaki Ex is a good modern alternative with a mirror mount.

        Sorry which model Kwaka mate?

Do you think 3 bolts will hold it down tight enough or do i need all 4 bolts?

Cheers I will take a look, any particular model of ninja, sorry over here we call a few of the ninja... are we talking zx6r's etc?

Just a thought... So the master cylinder, doen the white box secion but come off? if so can I "turn it around" so the bit with the naff scre thread is at the other side.... my thinking if all of the bolt holes are hollow, and I have seen people putting a nut on the end of it, but this cant be done on the one that wont bite as the brake lever is under it, but if I tunred it around then it wouldnt be... if that makes sense.

also if you take the box section off (the white bit) how is it sealed back on ?

            any help appreciated.

I replied in your other thread... You can't just turn it around. There is an O ring in there but you need even pressure or it will leak top & bottom. 3 bolts won't do it.
The Aluminium is threaded not the plastic.
