    Brake rotors

    Hi guys help needed . Can any of you guys out there come up with a brake rotor with a 64mm internal diameter ( the mounting on hub) fixed not floating, I am looking to fit on a 17" rim i have for my pre 82 race bike any help is very much appreciated. Dave

    Front or rear? Front I assume since you don't want floating.

        If I can find my calipers tonight I'll get a measurement for you from an '86 GSX-R750. They might be just what you need.

            The first generation rotors have a center diameter of 61mm.

            Here's a site that gives specs on brake rotors from lots of different bikes. You may be able to find the info you need there.


            Check out the Yamaha rotors. 64mm center diameter like you need. Not sure about the offset you need though.

            Looks to be a floater though.

            Here's a list of rotors with 64mm diameters. No pics on some of them though so you may need to contact them for info. They are out of Australia and Germany.


            This one is 64mm and fixed, not sure what it really fits though so you could cross reference.

                  Well its looking like the way to go is to make up some carriers and just fit the old gs discs this will also allow for some more offset to make room for some twinpot Brembos.
