    xs650 forks

Just wondering if anyone knew off hand what size front axle an 83 xs 650 had compared to a 77 gs 750. My forks are bent on that bike and there are some 35mm forks from an 83 xs 650 on kijiji I could pick up. Just wondered if my wheel and axle would still work?

    All i could find was '74 TX 650 at 17mm and XJ 650 '80-'83 at 15mm. '77 gs 750 is 15mm.

Just compare the bearing numbers, then look up the inside diameter of those bearings if they're different.

Front and rear wheel bearings sold each for motorcycles in CRC2's Online Catalog of New motorcycle Parts and Accessories Indy

On this page, just add a "6" to their part numbers to get the standard metric designation -- WB-302 becomes 6302. Google "6302 bearing" and you're all set...
