Fork entensions 1991 GSXR 1100 USD

Can anyone point me toward fork extensions for a 1991 GSXR 1100 USD front end? I'm going to swap the forks, wheels,brakes onto my 1979 G! 1000. Someone here mentioned that it's possible to extend USD forks, and I just can't get my head around how that would work.

Getting something like this machined could fix you up, costly though.

If the 1100 fork uppers are 50mm than these would work. Make adjustments a bit of a pain, but once you have your suspension set up the way you want it should be fine.

Highly recommended company on my side of the pond, they do suspension race service on world series level.
