RFY Shocks for GS1000
Those RFY Shocks look great but I'm a little concerned about the clevis. Anyone know where I possibly could get a better clevis?

The clevis bolts on.
It's feasible you could have one made or if you can find the right threaded bolt you could make a steel saddle (U with a square top) with a hole for the bolt and bolt them right up to the shock.
I wouldn't spend any more money on their best set than on a set of progressives as the ride quality was similar, not as good as the works "tracker" I currently have fitted.1980 GS1000G - Sold

It took some drilling and filing but I got them on and they seem to perform well. Only time will tell.
I am looking locally for someone to help machine some thicker 6061 celvis joints. I'm not much of a fan of the celvis joints that come with shocks.
(Had a dream last night that I got a set of Yoshi pipes to finish this baby off right... )Last edited by Guest; 04-05-2012, 09:38 AM.
