    New Avon's

Went out for a 100km ride today on my new Avon Roadriders. Love em so far. Had the battalax before but a little slippery in the wet. Not cool when you live on the west coast and never know when you are gonna get caught in the rain. Went with bigger back tire. $227.00 front and rear from Motorcycle super store. Ordered them Fri. afternoon was rideing on them Wed. morning!! Great price, great service!

Front is 32psi cold and rear is 34psi cold but might add some tomorrow. Never quite sure where it should be any advice appreciated. I weigh 215lbs. Bike is 510lbs

That's what I run my set at. I'm about 50lbs lighter though. Nice looking bike.

Remember the 10% rule? Basically you air them where they need to be and then ride until tires are warmed up. I usually do 50 miles and then re-check them. When you have the right pressure in them, the result will be an increase in psi by 10%. Your 32 front should be around 35 warm and your 34 rear should be 37-37.5 psi.

What sizes did you get? Hope you didn't go larger than 120 in back.

Yep really happy with the look and more importantly tthey handle great. No more battalax for me. After slipping in the rain on some tar strips, I was not a fan. By the way those tar strips they put down to "fix" the roads should not be allowed! Boy they get slick.

Careful. Any tire is gonna slip in the rain or on a painted surface. I will admit the Avons do feel planted but nothing is man hole cover proof .

                            Any cracks yet ?
