    longer than standard fork tubes

I just pulled my GS1000 chopper forks apart and the lower legs are GS1000 stockers but the main tubes (37mm) are 720mm long.
I beleive the factory GS forks Kayaba if not what brand are they? These are Air assisted too.
The bike was chopped in 1981 so they were from that period back
Also does anyone know what these tubes may be from or whereabouts i'd find a chart with different tube lengths on them
    thanks from New Zealand

The 750/700 with the 16" wheel have longer tubes & are 37mm. The 1150 too. They weren't around till 83 over here though...
