    Dating brake linesand replacement fit

So as suggested in my Mega welcome I checked my brake lines. They seen to have a date on them of 12/80 The PO could not tell me the last replacement was for the lines. So I am replacing them. Will brake lines for a early 80's katana fit my gs650g

Get some lines from www.z1enterprises.com (there are a couple other good sites too) . I picked up some stainless lines and banjos from there, the shipping is fast and the prices are good. Stainless lines will make a huge difference from the mushy old rubber ones.

New lines are much better than 25 year old used lines from a different bike.

The others are right and are not that expensive. If you are able to pay attention to detail then get the ones that Ed suggests as it's not that expensive to make your own. However, if you are like how I've found myself to be, you might want to get premade ones from Z1 for a little bit more.
