    Which thread locking compound for dampener rod bolts?

    Putting new sonic springs and seals in my forks. Which thread locking compound do you folks reccomend for the dampener rod bolts? The original yellow stuff was in there and it was a real bear to loosen. I'd rather not go through that next time. Thanks

    Blue locktite is best for something you want to be able to remove easily

      Thanks. I didn't know if the blue loctite was strong enough for this application.

        Blue Loctite was what I used when rebuilding the forks. This is for the Allen bolt at the very bottom of the tube.

          Actually, the CORRECT locking compound is the Threebond that is clear. I am at work & will have to post the # of it tomorrow. Ray.
