    MS Beather Hole

    Hello,

I'm rebuilding the rear master cylinder on my 77 GS750. I've seen a "breather hole" referenced in other posts but can't seem to find the exact location so I can be sure to clean it. Does anyone have a diagram or a detailed description of its location?

    Thanks,
    Matthew

I doubt it's visible on a rear master cylinder.

On a front master cylinder, you'll see a very small hole near a larger squarish hole, way down at the very bottom of the reservoir. The small hole is the bleed hole, and sometimes gets blocked by the gunk that forms on brake systems over the decades.
