If you're not keen on selling body parts to fund new shocks just keep an eye on Ebay. Secondhand Koni and Marzocchi shocks come up pretty regularly and they are cheap and easy to rebuild. I think the most I have paid is about £50 for a pair and about £20-30 for rebuild parts. Waaay better than Hagons etc.

I bought some emgo's for my bike, used them for about a month and took them off and went right back the the 33 y/o originals. They don't dampen anything, and have 1 ton truck coil springs, haha. I swore I was riding a hard tail... made my back hurt The originals do pogo, but at least they move when you hit a bump!
