78 gs750 triple tree front end swap

hey everyone!

I Need to rebuild my front forks so I thought to myself "what a great time to swap out the front suspension for something more modern..."

Anyways. I was just wondering if anyone here has done this? would actuall like to swap out the entire thing, not just the forks. any info and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just install a pair of Progressive Suspension springs or Sonic springs and you will love the improvement.
Even with the hopped up 1000 and 1100 engines in my '79 750 frame,
I have no need for anything better.
Oh, and I have plenty of 1000 and 1100GK forks around here to swap into it. (37 mm and 41 mm tubes)

plenty of options if you want to go that route. I just did it with a 96 katana front end. just know that if you go with newer stuff as opposed to something like he ^^^ said, it will lower the front end quite a bit.
