    high speed wobble

hello to all i have a 1979 GS1000E i restored every once in a while i will fire into it while on a nice highway and yesterday i was up to 100MPH and accelerating i started into a high speed wobble started out gentle but as speed increased it got worse .

was a handfull to get back once i got below 90 MPH it stopped where do i start looking for the problem the steering neck bearings and the swingarm bearings? I replaced everthing on the bike when i restored it . but the rear swingarm does seem to have some play in it .

thanks in advance for your responses

It's probably nothing to worry about...

A couple other things to check.
Tire wear, bent rim, chain misalignment, balanced fork air, handlebar fairing?

            Wheel bearings? Tight front-end parts?

thanks guys i have new avons on it with the alloy rims wich are straight a new 630 chain to.i dont have a fairing on the bike and i also have new forkseals in it and holds air nice have been wanting to put on a equalizer tube on the forks would probably help alot.
but it does look like the culprit may be the swingarm bushings i can move the swingarm when i have it on the centerstand . where is a good place to buy the swingarm bushings ?
              thanks steve

Partshark and Boulevard Suzuki are favorites around here. Cliff has a list of good vendors on his site too.
