Gs1000 en. Brake calliper alignment
My gs calipers when fitted to the fork legs are not equidistant from centre of the forks, l/h carrier nearly rubs on the disc r/h one has 3mm clearance, is this normal? Can't really think how to adjust this?
Any ideas???Tags: None

The caliper hanger moves on sliding pins so the caliper body will center themselves on the discs. Of course this assumes you rebuilt the calipers, greased the sliding pins with special high moly caliper grease, and installed the wheel properly (spacers properly configured).
Good luckEd

Alignment of calipers
Yes all assembled as per specification in gs manual, correctly greased, float nicely, the calipers is not interfering with the disc, it's the bracket which the calipers floats on thats nearer the disc on the left fork than the right one, still puzzled, my try a picture to show issue...

In the time I've been writing this post, number 6 on Boulevards fiche doesn't even come up now. Wierd! But I saw it long enough earlier to jot down the part numbers above, and it was a pin.sigpic

Calipers
Item 6 on this fishe is the bit close to the disc, the calipers itself is fine seems as though the wheel is 2-3mm too close to the left hand fork leg?
