I am confused about my front brake

Hey I have changed pad and fluid ,but I cant seem to know when the brakes are well purged ,

usually it is when there is no air in the lines but the problem is that I have used a syringe that was attached directly to the nipple and I pulled the syringe while maintaining the pressure on the lever and a lot of air went out of the system did it 5 time and there was always air

with regular method there was no bubbles escaping from the brake line and I am not sure if the methode with the syringe was wrong or it's the bubbles , because I dont know what is the feeling of a well bled brake.

ps: I compressed and tied the brake lever to handlebar to see if it changes something tomorrow

    any tips guys

my brake lever has about 1/2" of travel, does it come all the way bake to the grip?

Try removing the bleeder nipple and wrapping the threads with teflon tape. Air is most likely drawing into the system there.

Is it possible that your syringe is leaking? Try the usual 3/16 clear tubing submerged in brake fluid method and see if thats any better. Teflon tape is good safeguard though I'd do that regardless.

It's perfectly normal to see air bubbles in the bleeder tube when using suction on the nipple. Teflon tape will reduce the tendency, but I just dismiss the bubbles as they don't actually enter the caliper.
